Aluminum is increasingly referred to as the material of the future, and for good reason. It combines exceptional durability, almost unlimited recycling possibilities, and the potential to create modern, elegant forms that correspond to trends in 21st-century architecture and construction.

Modern design and freedom of design

The lightness and strength of aluminum give designers almost unlimited freedom in creating structures – from impressive glazing and ultra-thin frames to designs with unusual shapes and non-standard dimensions. Aluminum profiles are ideal for individual projects where unique design and functionality tailored to the user's needs are important. Thanks to their stability, they can be used to create even very large window sashes and door, which remain easy to operate despite their size. Pivot doors are an example of modern technological solutions. AS 100 Pivot or lift and slide doors AS 178HS MODERNwhich can be integrated with smart home systems. Users can control them from a smartphone app, which translates into both convenience and a high level of security.

Such solutions fit perfectly into the trend of smart buildings, where window and door frames work together with other home management systems. What is more, aluminum structures can be harmoniously combined with photovoltaic installations, supporting the idea of energy-efficient and environmentally friendly construction.

Traditional or modern style?

Aluminum profiles can be anodized or powder coated in almost any color, allowing them to match the character of any building – from traditional-style houses to modern, minimalist single-family homes. The solutions available in the Aluron Color Collection2 patterns allow you to give each project a unique character thanks to a wide range of finishes: from elegant matte finishes, through subtle satin and expressive textures, to realistic wood-like coatings that faithfully reproduce the natural grain of wood. Thanks to its malleability and ability to be combined with other materials, aluminum has become synonymous with modern design and aesthetics that never go out of style.

Durability that sets the standard

Aluminum is extremely resistant to corrosion, weather conditions, and UV radiation, thanks to which windows, doors, and facades made of this material retain their properties for years without the need for frequent maintenance. It is also distinguished by its dimensional stability - it does not deform under the influence of temperature or moisture.

Solutions such as the AS 110EI system further slow down the spread of fire and, in combination with tempered or laminated glass and anti-burglary fittings, create a solid barrier that not only increases safety but also helps maintain the optimal temperature inside the building and reduces heat loss.

Recycling – closed-loop raw material cycle

One of the greatest advantages of aluminum is that it can be recycled multiple times without losing its mechanical or aesthetic properties. It is estimated that up to 75% of the aluminum produced in history is still in use as structural elements or profiles. At a time when sustainable construction is becoming a necessity, aluminum recycling fits perfectly into the idea of a circular economy.

At Aluron, we promote a circular economy for raw materials, ensuring that the materials used in the production process can be recycled. We have our own line for the production of TPE seals made of thermoplastic elastomer, which combines flexibility with durability. Unused sections of TPE seals from the production and assembly of window and door structures are ground in our factory and prepared for reuse. The recovered material is returned to production and added in the appropriate proportion to the original raw material. In this way, we reduce waste and the consumption of primary raw materials. For aluminum joinery manufacturers, this means lower energy consumption, and for users, the awareness of choosing an environmentally friendly material.

Summary

Aluminum combines features that make it a material not only for the present, but also for the future: exceptional durability, full recyclability, and aesthetics that fit in with global architectural trends. The low weight of the profiles means that even large window and door sashes remain easy to operate, offering users comfort and smooth operation for years to come. Aluminum structures significantly increase the level of security in the home, and in combination with smart home systems and photovoltaic installations, they create a universal solution that can be easily adapted to the requirements of each user in terms of both functionality and energy efficiency.
