The BAU 2023 Munich fair is the most prestigious event connecting investors, manufacturers, architects, developers and other entities operating on the construction market. Returning after 4 years of absence, the World Fair of Architecture, Materials and Building Systems will be held between April 17-22, 2023. The main themes of the event include climate change and related challenges for the construction sector, digital transformation in construction, the latest IT solutions, houses of the future and the use of raw materials and recycling of building materials.
Two of the above issues, directly related to broadly understood ecology and sustainable construction, are particularly important from the point of view of Aluron. The Zawiercie multi-system provider puts great emphasis on pro-environmental initiatives. This is evidenced by the ISO 14001 environmental certificate obtained last year. Due to the importance of ecology in the company's operations, Aluron decided to use the BAU 2023 fair as the arena for the international premiere of its two innovative systems.
International premiere of AF 50KW Quantum and AS 75EI
The first one is the AF 50KW QUANTUM zero-energy facade. Thanks to the use of active photovoltaic fillings, the system allows for full balancing of energy losses and gains of the structure. Moreover, it uses TPE seals - manufactured by Aluron from a thermoplastic elastomer, which, as part of the company's circular economy, after appropriate treatment, can be reused in the production process.
The second premiere of Aluron is the AS 75EI fire-resistant door system, which is equipped with patented Perliterm fire-resistant inserts. Their above-average durability and extraordinary fire-retardant and cooling properties result directly from their composition. Aluron produces them from perlite. It is a natural and extremely durable rock of volcanic origin, which crumbles and grinds into ore after extraction. The system also includes proprietary dual-function intumescent seals attached to thermal breaks, which eliminate the problem of their detachment. In the event of a fire, the seals completely fill the working space and do not blow out.
To provide a comprehensive and refined product, Aluron cooperates closely with leading glass manufacturers. In the case of the AF 50KW Quantum façade, the company's partner is the global giant AGC Glass. The glass for use in AS 75EI is supplied by Vetrotech Saint-Gobain, a leading company in the field of fire-resistant fillings.
Hall B1, stand number 420
Aluron's stand at the Messe München exhibition center will be located in hall B1, number 420. Throughout the duration of the BAU 2023 fair, visitors will be able to obtain detailed information from the multi-system provider's experts on the innovations used in the Quantum façade and the AS 75EI system, as well as on other - less technologically advanced - products from the company's offer. What's more, international advisors from both glass manufacturers will also be available to visitors at the Aluron stand.
