Modern Loft is a remarkable example of a successful revitalization of a XIX century steam power plant, which was part of the factory complex of Karol Weile and Stanisław Landaud.
The insulation of the apartment building was installed from the inside, which allowed the original façade to be preserved. Retaining the brick cladding and the original window divisions gave the building new life without losing its historical character. The interiors of Modern Loft were designed in a post-industrial style. High ceilings, large windows, and raw materials such as brick and concrete create a unique atmosphere. This is complemented by elements inspired by industrial heritage: exposed installations, metal accents, and loft-style lighting. Particular attention is drawn to the beautiful aluminium windows, crafted in an industrial style. For this project, Aluron produced impressive arched structures.
