Large glazings are one of the most important trends dominating contemporary architecture. Their advantages are indisputable. They ensure adequate access of sunlight to the interior. They open up the entire building to the beauty of nature and bring out the beauty of rooms, optically enlarging them. For this reason, Aluron - a leading supplier of aluminium systems - decided to combine this trend with the second most popular trend in architecture - minimalism. To this end, it was the first Polish system supplier to create a comprehensive series of Aluron Glass Line products with the spectacular effect of a uniform glass surface.

The Aluron Glass Line enables the production of visually coherent joinery including windows, entrance and sliding doors for the whole house or residence. All products in the line are distinguished by their minimalist design and elegance. The intended effect is achieved by covering the entire surface of the window and/or door leaf with aesthetically pleasing enamelled glass. The glass can provide a mirror effect or be tinted in any RAL colour. The thickness of the silicone joint used is just 3 mm.

The series includes systems:

  • front panel doors - the AS 75P panel doors,
  • Lift-and-slide patio doors AS 178HS PRO SLIM,
  • window-door AS 75 on the basis of which various types of windows and balcony doors can be constructed - the solution will be available for quotation soon.

Combination of pure form and reliable technology

The spectacular visual effect of the Glass Line series is provided by the glued-in glazing. From the outside, only the impressive glazing surface is visible, which also covers the aluminium sections. However, the products in Aluron's new line are not only beautiful solutions fitting into the architects' composition. They are, above all, technologically sophisticated systems, in which purity of form is combined with high technical properties.

The appropriate three-chamber construction of the aluminium profiles, combined with modern thermal insulation and an ecological central gasket installed in the sash, translates into very good thermal insulation parameters (AS 75 - Uw from 0.67 W/m2K, AS 75P – Ud od 0,82 W/m2K oraz AS 178HS PRO SLIM – Uw 0,7 W/m2K.). Not insignificant for the above parameters is also the maximum thickness of the glazing package. For AS 75 it is 66 mm, for AS 178 HS PRO SLIM - 59 mm. The maximum thickness of the door panel, on the other hand, is 75 mm for AS 75P. The Glass Line doors may use ANTI-BI-METAL separators to ensure durability and proper functioning of the structure regardless of significant temperature differences inside and outside the room.

Wide design freedom

Each system in the Glass Line range features an extremely wide range of design options. AS 178HS PRO SLIM patio doors are available in all designs, including the economical monorail solution. What's more, it can also be used to create threshold-free structures, as well as the trendy opening and all-glass corners. The glass corner solution is also available in the AS 75 window system, and it is also possible to create corners at any angle. The beauty of the single- or double-leaf all-glass panel doors of the AS 75P system, in turn, is enhanced by the single- or double-sided flush door panel and their complementation with top and side lights. Moreover, AS 7P provides for the possibility of installing panel doors in a mullion and transom façade, which, in combination with the Aluron AF 50S silicone facade variant complementing the GLASS LINE, ensures a unique effect. The silicone joint in the AF 50S system is only 22 mm.
