It consists of: ready-made frames equipped with a set of proprietary seals and mounting hooks. Thanks to this, the company's clients do not have to have departments in their production plants dealing with the prefabrication of overlays, which saves them significant time and money. All they need to do is calculate and order complete frames using specialized software provided by Aluron. The waiting time for an order is from 7 to 14 days. When selling windows with Gemini overlays, the company's partners do not have to conduct time-consuming technical tests regarding, for example, tightness. Advantages of aluminum frames

Gemini aluminum cover systems allow you to unify and match the design of plastic windows to aluminum or wood-aluminum joinery. They provide elegance while maintaining the highest performance parameters of PVC structures. Aluminum overlays increase protection against weather conditions and UV radiation. They also increase the acoustic comfort of users inside the room. The use of this type of solutions has a positive impact on the statics of windows and doors, which in turn translates into the possibility of constructing structures in larger dimensions than those provided for in technical standards for PVC.

"Invisible weld" technology

The corners of aluminum frames are joined at an angle of 45° using the "invisible weld" technology, ensuring the effect of a perfectly flat, uniform surface. During the production process, aluminum profiles are welded, then properly polished and powder-coated. As a result, the place of their connection is completely invisible. An alternative to welding is the technology of mechanically connecting the corners of aluminum frames using connectors with visible cutting edges. Thanks to the possibility of welding frames and the arc bending department, Aluron is able to create overlays corresponding to unusual window shapes: arched, round, trapezoidal and others.

Easy installation of overlays

Aluminum overlays create an independent structure in relation to the PVC window. Separating both raw materials from each other ensures correct and safe operation of the window. The Gemini system hooks used for installation have a number of advantages:

  • They allow for quick and efficient installation of overlays during construction or even earlier in the production plant after the final glazing of the structure. Just screw them to the window body.
  • They eliminate tolerances on PVC profiles that change their dimensions, for example due to temperature fluctuations.
  • Mounting clips allow for easy replacement of pads. Therefore, they provide the opportunity to visually change the entire façade without the need to replace window and door joinery. 

The installation of Gemini aluminum overlay systems is based on simple templates available from the system provider. It is also possible to automate the implementation of Gemini hooks.
