For the last two years, Aluron technicians and experts have been testing at the company's headquarters a facade structure equipped with various types of active fillings that generate electricity from the sun. The effort and time spent on research bore fruit today. At the beginning of February, Aluron implemented a comprehensive and globally unique AF 50KW Quantum zero-energy façade system in AluronCAD software and sales.

Since the beginning of this year, we have been eagerly awaiting the moment when we will be able to offer you the opportunity to purchase our new solution. We devoted three years of work to creating and configuring our system. Today we can say with full confidence that we are ready. Our product meets all the functions assumed at the design stage. It was very important for us to provide users with the ability to fully monitor the façade's energy yields, its technical condition and the efficient replacement of worn-out elements in a way that will maintain its original tightness and thermal insulation level. – powiedział Kryspin Baran, Prezes Zarządu w Aluronie.

A façade that generates savings

Problems with constantly rising electricity prices and the increasingly limited availability of energy raw materials prompt the search for an alternative way of obtaining energy from renewable raw materials. Photovoltaic panels mounted on public buildings or houses are now commonplace. However, what is new is the Quantum façade system, which allows you to construct beautiful glass facades of buildings in which energy-producing cells can be arranged in any way that suits the architect's vision. Additionally, the facade glazing set can be supplemented with a heating system on the glass, which additionally heats the room and increases thermal comfort in the vicinity of the glass. Solar cells built into the glass can also be used to shade rooms, which reduces the costs of ventilation and air conditioning in the building.

Photovoltaics elements may include active silicon fills, thin films and dye cells. Investors therefore have a wide choice of technologies depending on their needs and expectations regarding the installation's power, energy yields and aesthetic values.

Unique QUANTUM construction

Photovoltaic facades available on the market so far generated energy and functioned efficiently until the first failure of the active fillings. Removing the defect required de-glazing the façade from the outside, replacing the cells and re-glazing it. This led to a significant deterioration of tightness, thermal insulation and energy yields of the entire structure. The Quantum system eliminates this problem 100%. Assembly and disassembly can be carried out both from the outside and inside of the facade. Glazing the structure from the inside is possible thanks to the unique structure of the sections. The KWANTUM façade column consists of a load-bearing core and removable supplementary elements. In the event of a failure of one of the fillings, we simply and intuitively dismantle some of the structural elements at the level of that particular cell. Then we remove the defective glazing, replace it with new one and rebuild the façade from the inside to restore its original condition. The excellent tightness and insulation of the structure is confirmed by documents issued by the Building Research Institute in Warsaw.

Another very important feature of Quantum is the systematic solution of cable transport. At the back of the mullion and transom there is a specially shaped channel that allows easy access to the cabling at any time. Thanks to this, regardless of weather conditions, the installation will remain dry. Quantum, like all facades in Aluron's offer, provides the possibility of perfect material optimization and minimization of production waste. The beams and columns are based on the same sections.

Energy management system

To provide customers with a comprehensive solution, we equipped the Quantum system with proprietary software. The Energy Management System enables ongoing monitoring of the façade's energy yields. It also allows you to check the technical condition of individual fillings in order to precisely locate the filling with reduced efficiency. The software is configured individually for each investment. It allows you to control consumption and connect an energy storage unit. It also enables analysis and management of energy flow in the entire installation.
