Aluron is a socially responsible company

We consistently undertake various initiatives that contribute to the protection of the environment and the promotion of the public good.

We support the local community in many fields. We work with the pupils of the Correctional Institution and Juvenile Hostel in Zawiercie as well as numerous educational institutions, aiming to give them a better start into adulthood. We offer opportunities to complete internships and apprenticeships at Aluron, as well as permanent employment.

In October 2023, Aluron was awarded the title of Silesian Labour Market Leader as the company most strongly involved in activating the unemployed. We support local medical facilities by donating essential equipment and cleaning products and participate in the organisation of numerous cultural events.

As the title sponsor of the volleyball team Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie, we support young talents and promote sport among children and young people.

Aluron to care for the environment

We take many environmentally friendly measures as part of a circular economy of raw materials in line with the 3R principles: reduce, reuse, recycle. We therefore subject unused TPE gasket and ABS profile sections to appropriate shredding and then use them as a raw material component in the production of new gaskets and profiles.

We place great emphasis on the segregation and proper disposal of aluminium and plastic waste. We are running an environmental campaign called 'Act eco-logically', which involves collecting foam from customers to secure the structures delivered to them, which are then used in subsequent transports.

We use energy-efficient process lines. In our state-of-the-art powder coating plant, we use chrome-free paint processing and powder coatings.

We operate on the basis of global management and production standards, among others: ISO 9001, ISO 14001 or Qualicoat certification.

Environmental Product Declarations and Ecocarts

Aluron was the first system company in Poland to obtain an environmental certificate for its façade and window and door systems - the 'Environmental Product Declaration Type III' (EPD) according to the latest EN 15804+A2 standard. effective from 2022.

The EPD is a worldwide certification that assesses the environmental impact of a product at every stage of the product life cycle: from sourcing of materials, production, transport, assembly, and use, to disposal and recycling. It quantifies the extraction of raw materials, the energy intensity of the production process, water consumption, and waste generation.

Ecocards have also been developed for Aluron's systems. The documents contain information about the product's compliance with the requirements of LEED v4.1 , BREEAM v6, DGNB 2020 certifications, so that, in the event of an enquiry, they provide ready documentation that a consultant or assessor can directly transfer to the project.
