EU projects – Polish capital and the EU opportunity used
ALURON is a company founded with Polish capital, whose strategy has always included the development of production infrastructure. The emerging opportunities to use EU funds were consistent with the company's development vision.
Aluron used all the options that EU programs offered and became a beneficiary of many of them. Thanks to the good use of subsidies, the following were created:
production hall with modern machinery,
logistics support,
modern sales department,
training center for business partners.
Under Measure 1.2. Research, development and innovation in enterprises, within the Regional Operational Programme of the Silesian Voivodeship 2014-2020 co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund.
Project objective:
Entwicklung der aktiven Fülltechnologie ActivPRO für Aluminiumfassadensysteme.
Project result:
Development of active fillings for the construction of aluminium facades and windows, the task of which is to combine the functions of total transparency and the production of electricity from solar energy (mini PV cells will not be located in the plane of the glass) and the use of an innovative facade construction enabling the lamination of mini PV cells to the components of the structural profiles.
Total project value: 4 522 505,54 PLN
Value of eligible costs: 3 892 726,44 PLN
Contribution of European Funds: 3 892 726,44 PLN
Aluron is implementing a project entitled "Development of a zero-energy KWANTUM system equipped with active complex packages" under Measure 1.1 "R&D projects of enterprises", Sub-measure 1.1.1 "Industrial research and development works" of the Smart Growth Operational Programme 2014-2020 co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund.
Project objectives:
Development of a zero-energy façade profile structure based on thermal insulation materials in order to enable the client to ultimately implement a new generation of the zero-energy KWANTUM façade system, fully integrated with an active glass-photovoltaic package and an energy management system.
Planned effects:
Conducting industrial research aimed at developing a concept of full integration of photovoltaic modules belonging to the first and third generation of photovoltaic cells for use in insulating glass and connecting them with the aluminum structure of Aluron and RFiD technology. Conducting research on the conditions of synthesis of an object-integrated, autonomous, semi-passive identifier - RFID sensor, intended for use in a system covering the process of production, distribution, installation, operation, service/maintenance and disposal of photovoltaic panels, technology validation and pilot production.
Total project value:14 150 171,20 PLN
Contribution of European Funds:9 739 867,36 PLN
Aluron is implementing the project entitled "Development of innovative technology for fire-resistant aluminium joinery systems and FENIX® facades for internal and external applications" within the framework of Measure 1.1 "R&D projects of enterprises", the Smart Growth Operational Programme 2014-2020 co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund
Project objectives:
Research on the development of a fireproof core. Research on the development of a hybrid aluminum profile system filled with a fireproof core. Development of a transparent filling based on hydrogel technology and elastomeric seals swelling in fire. Development and testing of a prototype of an innovative, fireproof, hybrid joinery system for interior and exterior applications.
Planned effects:
The innovative FENIX® technology will be dedicated to building construction (office, commercial and service facilities) and plants producing aluminium joinery and facades and will contribute to increasing the level of safety in the use of buildings and to the development of material engineering technologies including the production of fireproof systems.
