Aluron is expanding its range of solutions dedicated to renovation projects in export markets by introducing the ACS W renovation clip system.
The new solution has been designed for projects where it is crucial to limit interference with existing buildings and preserve the original aesthetics of the facade. It is ideal for use in old tenement houses, historic buildings, and buildings under conservation protection.
Renovation without dismantling
As a renovation solution, ACS W allows new windows to be installed on existing frames (usually wooden) without the need to dismantle them. This installation scenario reduces the risk of damage to historical details. What is more, it allows the work to be carried out faster and in a more predictable manner in terms of organization. This is particularly important in projects carried out in stages or in inhabited buildings. An important element of the system are frames with a so-called masking profile. On the inside, it creates an aesthetic “band” covering the old frame. On the outside, it allows the use of casing profiles that reduce the amount of “dirty” finishing work.
Design and installation
Repeatability and compatibility are important in export practice. For this reason, ACS W provides solutions that facilitate preparation and installation in different markets. The system offers frames in many width variants, allowing the geometry to be adapted to the condition of existing door frames and renovation requirements. A significant improvement is a single element for clipping all renovation profiles. It simplifies logistics in production and reduces the number of components on site.
From the contractors' point of view, it is also important to be able to cut profiles both straight and at a 45° angle, which makes it easier to adapt to the details of the connections and the conditions of the building. The clips are compatible with AS 75, AS 52, AS 80US and AS 110systems. This allows ACS W to be implemented as a “bridge” solution in plants that already manufacture using these system lines. Front-end installation and removal facilitates servicing and reduces working time. The system also provides a universal approach to the use of window sills. A common profile is available for all thermally insulated window sills. Compatibility with individual systems is ensured by changing the dimensions of the thermal breaks. There is also a version of the window sill without thermal insulation that is common to all systems. ACS W supports quick, minimally invasive installation and real protection of the facade. It does not require extensive wet work or the need to recreate details after disassembly.
Aesthetics consistent with the design style
In terms of aesthetics, this solution offers freedom of choice in terms of color: from the RAL palette, through wood-like decors, to various structural solutions and anodizing. In terms of durability, powder-coated Aluron finishes are resistant to temperature fluctuations, UV radiation, and mechanical damage. It is possible to produce coatings in QUALICOAT quality and, optionally, also in QUALICOAT SEASIDE quality for increased corrosion protection.
At the same time, Aluron is working on further expanding the system's capabilities. ACS W is to be expanded with the option of connecting to the hybrid window system - ASH 80 HYBRID. This system combines aluminum profiles with a plastic core, ensuring very high thermal insulation.
