Last Friday, January 17, 2025, one of the most important international events in the door and window joinery industry ended – the BAU 2025 trade fair. The event, which gathered exhibitors and visitors from all over the world, could not be missed by leading suppliers from Poland, including Aluron.

On an area of almost 110 square meters, the system supplier from Zawiercie presented some of the product premieres planned for this year, including pivot doors, two lift-and-slide door options, a slim display casement solution based on a facade system and hybrid panel doors with a door leaf flush in one plane with an all-glass sidelight.

When designing our stand, we focused on openness and transparency. These are the features that we also follow in our relations with customers. We wanted to ensure maximum ease of access for visitors to our space. For this reason, we clearly divided our space into two parts: an exhibition area, where you could familiarize yourself with our proposals this year, and the other one, where you could have casual conversations with representatives of the companies visiting us. We wanted to provide our guests with maximum comfort. Transparency was also our guiding principle when using insulating glass in the pivot doors presented at BAU. Even the most extravagant, visitor-attracting door panel would cover the highlight of our doors – the AS 100 Pivot system, perfected in every inch by Aluron designers. It was precisely its structural advantages that we wanted to present to our guests.

Modern technologies in the service of sustainable construction

At the Aluron stand, located in the very center of hall B1, one could find impressive structures that were in line not only with the key theme of the BAU 2025 trade fair, but also with contemporary architectural trends. They focus on reducing visible aluminum in favor of increasing glass surfaces. Aluron's first proposal was the aforementioned door with a shifted axis of rotation based on the AS 100 Pivot system. The doors were equipped with anti-bimetallic divided thermal breaks, a drop threshold with LED backlighting, and control from a fingerprint reader and tablet. What's more, Pivot by Aluron is a non-rebated solution with a symmetrical profile structure, which facilitates prefabrication and assembly. The structure was complemented by: the Instinct by Maco electronic locking system and WALA hidden fittings with three-plane adjustment and a cable gland in the upper hinge.

Right behind the pivot, visitors could admire the new version of the popular Aluron AS 178HS MODERN lift-and-slide solution in the Ultra version with the narrowest central post measuring just 25 mm wide. The system design focuses on faster and easier prefabrication thanks to a frame cut straight and screwed, as well as better material optimization achieved by using the same profile on both sides of the frame. The proposal was complemented by integrated linear drainage and LED illumination of the 25 mm post.

The second proposal of the HST type was aimed at lovers of traditional wooden structures, which can be reinforced from the outside with aluminum overlays. The Gemini SI 62 SLIM system with wooden-aluminum profiles with a width of only 62 mm was equipped with a unique solution on the market of adjustable trolleys facilitating correct assembly and a modern SIEGENIA hook bolt.

Aluron presented two facade structures based on the ATF 50 system and its variant dedicated to residential construction – ATF 35. The minimalistic shop window construction made of 35 mm aluminum visible on slim facade columns was integrated with the AS 75V ventilation wing ensuring free air circulation. All structures prepared by Aluron were equipped with green seals made of thermoplastic elastomer (TPE). The color was chosen by the system provider deliberately to emphasize their ecological dimension and the company's care for the environment. TPE seals are 100% recyclable. At Aluron, unused raw material is ground in appropriate machines, so-called mills. The granulate obtained in this way is then added in appropriate proportions to the original raw material. The company's own production of seals allows it to grant a 12-year warranty on the product.

Market Wednesday with special guests

Aluron has prepared a special surprise for visitors. On Wednesday, January 15, the stand of the system provider from Zawiercie was visited by special guests: Michał Winiarski, coach of the Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie team and one of the most decorated Polish volleyball players, and Mateusz Bieniek, silver medalist of the 2024 Olympic Games. The athletes were returning from Innsbruck, where they defeated Hypo Tirol Innsbruck 0:3 in the CEV Champions League 2024/2025.

The volleyball players were extremely interested in the presented structures, the secrets of which were explained to them by Artur Blukacz, director of the research and development department at Aluron. Their attention was particularly drawn to the possibilities of producing high doors, reaching over 3 meters. After the demonstration, the volleyball players spent time at the stand talking to visitors and signing autographs on special club balls.

Number of visitors is a measure of success

Throughout the week, a steady stream of visitors passed through the Aluron stand. The system provider's nearly 25-person staff guided, presented, handed out marketing materials and answered all questions.

The BAU 2025 trade fair was an exceptionally successful event for us, both in terms of the number of visitors and the enthusiastic reactions of customers from all over the world. We were particularly pleased with the presence of numerous guests from Poland, who came to learn about our new products and to strengthen or establish cooperation. In principle, we focused on presenting mainly new solutions, which was met with great appreciation. Customers appreciated our technological advantages and the fact that we had prepared the largest number of product premieres. The AS 100 Pivot door, considered groundbreaking, aroused particular interest. We eliminated all the problems that other system providers struggling with when producing systems of this type. In my opinion, the BAU 2025 trade fair strengthened Aluron's position as the fastest growing aluminum system provider.
