Aluron Sp. z o. o. has expanded its product portfolio with the new IW 50 system. The solution allows the construction of windows integrated with the façade, opening inwards using standard hidden hinges. The facade column sections also function as window frames. For this reason, when viewed from the outside, structures of this type do not differ in any way from the permanent façade sections. They provide an elegant effect of a hidden wing, and thus contribute to maintaining the continuity of the system typical of a mullion-and-beam wall.
The solution is compatible with all facade systems from Aluron's offer: AF 50 and its silicone variant AF 50S, as well as the zero-energy photovoltaic facade AF 50KW Quantum. IW 50 windows have two main tasks: they ensure optimal ventilation of rooms and improve the aesthetics by emphasizing the beautiful, minimalist style of the design. They accomplish this last task, among others, thanks to a wide range of masking strips of various shapes. Structures based on the system can be equipped with the following functions: tilt and turn (RU), turn (R) and tilt (U).
The solution has very good thermal properties (thermal insulation Uw from 0.51 W/m²K) and tight. Achieved thanks to the special design of the central seal, which also guarantees effective drainage of the entire structure.
The IW 50 system allows for glazing with single-chamber glass and double-chamber packages up to 64 mm thick. The maximum height of the structure is 2400 mm and width 1500 mm.
The first projects have already been created based on the IW 50 system. This is another novelty in facade systems that we presented this year. In February, the AF 50KW Quantum zero-energy façade system, unique on a global scale, went on sale with the option of installing active photovoltaic fillings. However, this is not the last word we said this year regarding facade solutions. We are already preparing for the next product premiere.
